1. Experimental Nature of the Hardware: The LM42P is an experimental, open-source mechanical architecture. It utilizes industrial-grade linear motion components, high-torque stepper motors, and high-voltage power supplies capable of generating substantial physical force and speed. The LM42P is provided strictly as a functional engineering prototype and is not a certified medical or consumer safety device.
2. Absolute Assumption of Risk: By accessing the blueprints, downloading the firmware, or commissioning a physical build, you acknowledge that operating heavy mechanical equipment involves inherent physical risks (including pinching, crushing, or electrical shock). You agree to assume 100% of the risk associated with the assembly, operation, and maintenance of this machine.
3. Open-Source (DIY) Build Disclaimer: If you choose to build the LM42P using our open-source documentation, you are acting as your own manufacturer. LM42P makes no warranties regarding the safety, structural integrity, or performance of a machine assembled by a third party. You are solely responsible for sourcing quality components and ensuring safe electrical connections.
4. Commissioned Units & Modifications: Commissioned units are provided "AS-IS." Any modification to the physical structure, electrical housing, remote control, or firmware voids all implied support. The machine must be secured to a stable, load-bearing surface prior to operation.
5. Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Swiss and international law, under no circumstances shall LM42P, its creators, or contributors be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or physical damages arising out of the use, misuse, or inability to use the machine.
Age Restriction & Explicit Content
The LM42P website and associated documentation contain adult themes and explicit demonstrations of hardware application. You must be at least 18 years of age (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction) to access this site, purchase digital blueprints, or commission physical hardware.
Intellectual Property & Open Source License
The digital blueprints, 3D models (STLs), firmware, and assembly manuals provided by LM42P are released under a Non-Commercial Open-Source License. You are free to modify and build upon the architecture for personal use. You are strictly prohibited from mass-manufacturing or selling LM42P hardware, derivatives, or digital files for commercial profit without explicit, written authorization.
Commissions & Refund Policy
Due to the highly bespoke, built-to-order nature of the LM42P hardware commissions, all sales are final once assembly has commenced. Digital blueprint purchases ($30 tier) are instantly delivered and are entirely non-refundable.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Switzerland, specifically the Canton of Vaud, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
